HEY!!
GET OVER HERE!
Listen.
You thought you could get away with it last week.
WELL GUESS WHAT….
It’s not going to happen again.
I demand… that you say hi to me.
I started off with a HI last week and I didn’t get a response back.
Unacceptable.
If I do not receive a hi from you in the next 30 seconds,
Oprah will not be pleased.
She will find you.
She will destroy.

What was I doing?
There hasn’t been much going on.
I’ve been planning some future projects but nothing too exciting.
I’m just not in the mood to do anything.
I have time now.
Work has slowed.
Winter is upon us.
There’s no snow, it’s just… cold.
It’s just bleh.
I hate it.
I hate everything.
I’m moving to Venus.
It’s nice and warm there.
I need to stay away from the cold or else I’ll get pneumonia again.
FUN TIMES!
It’s time for my annual hibernation.
I’ll see you next year.
What was I talking about, again?
I don't know what I’m doing.
I’m trying to think of things to say, but there’s nothing to say.
It’s been a boring week.
TIME TO SPICE THINGS UP WITH SOME YELLOW!
BOOM!
This is the end.
The Yellow Project is complete.
I have made it to my destination.
This was a fun journey.
I’m glad I finally was able to get this project done after starting it in MARCH.
This was the first photo that I shot for this project back in April.
This project was supposed to be related to Spring.
WHICH IS WHY THERE ARE FLOWERS IN TE FIRST PHOTO.
But things fell apart.
And now it’s WINTER.
It is what it is.
I was still able to capture yellow properly with Spring.
Fall has colors!
EVEN MORE THAN SPRING.
So it all worked out in the end.
We always have these flowers in our yard.
Since we moved here, I’ve always had this photo in mind when I saw those flowers.
It has been a while since I’ve done anything…. Weird.
This was the time when I finally shot that photo.
I thought of being in the flowers, but that was too complicated.
I could have been peeking around the flowers, but that would be too cheesy.
I don’t know.
I decided that I’d treat it like a normal photo, where are usually of me standing in a cool spot.
Doing things this way means the photo doesn’t come off as weird at first.
Until you look closer and realize I’m super tiny.
With that plan in mind, it was a simple shoot.
I shot the flowers.
SEE!
This I scaled everything up.
The perspective had to stay the same.
So I moved the camera back until I had a photo where I filled the frame.
I didn’t adjust the angle, height, or anything else.
Once I had it back far enough, I tossed up a green screen and shot the photo of me.
SEE!
I should mention that I specifically chose this day to shoot the photo.
It was cloudy.
That means no shadows to worry about.
I didn’t want to have to try to match shadows and lighting.
Too much work.
ANYWAYS!
The next step was to blend them together.
Since I was on a green screen, it was easy to place me into the photo with the flowers.
The hard part was the grass.
The flowers were kind of down in a hill at this scale.
Easy for me because I wouldn’t have to worry about me standing in the grass and getting that to look right.
I could just hide my feet behind the hill.
But that means I need to select out the hill and make it it’s own layer.
The wise thing would have been to take a piece of paper and place it where I should be standing.
Then, shoot another photo.
That way, I can select the white of the paper and remove it, leaving all the blades of grass.
That was the issue.
I put myself in there and I was going over the blades of grass that should be in front of me.
So, I had to go in really close and select out those blades of grass the hard way.
I still didn’t get them all, just enough to sell the effect of me being down the little hill.
Other than all that, the editing was smooth.
I didn’t want to do too much editing after that.
Color and lighting wise.
All the photos up to this point have had high contrast.
I wanted things to be soft and natural.
Easy to look at.
So I didn’t do too much to the photo.
I made everything yellow and then I adjusted a few sliders like clarity and saturation.
Nothing too extreme.
COMPARE!
Hover your mouse (the computer one) over the original picture to see the after editing one.
If you're on a touchscreen device, just tap on the picture. You may have to tap more than once.
That compared the Photoshopping of me into the photo.
Now compare the lighting adjustments that I did...
And lastly, I cropped it a bit and turned it yellow.
You might notice….that’s not a square.
The official photo up above is a square.
Well, I debated on what to do.
So I asked THE AUNT!
We decided that the square one really focused in on everything more effectively.
Having less to look at gives you more to look at.
Does that make sense?
It did to me.
ONTO THE VIDEO!!
The final video is a whole 37 minutes!
It was 33, but something happened a few weeks ago that I wanted to include.
WATCH THE VIDEO!
That’s not the only video!
I also uploaded an extra video.
It’s the ENTIRE PROJECT in one video.
It’s a long one, that’s why I had it in parts.
It covers almost a year's worth of content!
WATCH THE VIDEO!
Alright, that’s all.
This project is over.
I wonder what color I should do next?
PINK??
MAROON?
BLACK?!??!
DARKNESS!!!!!
YES!!!
WE’LL SEE!
ANYWAYS!
WHAT’S NEXT!?!?!
Well, Christmas!
That’s next.
There’s also another project that I’m working on, but I’ll bring that up in the Christmas video.
SEE YOU THEN!!
