Wow.
Lord have mercy.
I’m mad.
Go away.

..
.
I see you’re not leaving.
Here I am, minding my own business.
Then you come barging in here like you own the place.
Now you aren’t leaving.
Do I need to leave my own house?
Wait… I don’t have my own house.
..... or do I?
SURPRISE!
I have a house now.
I built it myself.
Take a look.
ISN’T IT LOVELY!?!?
Ok, I’m kidding.
This was my April Fools joke for this year.
I’m posting it now because I don’t want to wait until tomorrow.
ANYWAYS!
Last time I posted, I mentioned the photo contest for this year.
I won Best Black and White and was trying to win the People’s Choice award.
Well, that didn’t happen.
There was a photo that I missed that had more votes than me, apparently.
Oh well.
That’s really the only exciting thing that happened.
I’ve just been busy with work.
That’s also why it took so long to get this photo done.
SPEAKING OF THE PHOTO!!
There is it.
I had this idea ever since I got the drone.
But the issue was, I’m so busy all the time.
I never had enough time to get to this park at sunset.
Plus, this is a popular park.
So when I did get a chance to get there, I wasn’t the only one there.
Seas of people.
Looking at the sunset.
I was sure this photo would never happen.
It was too ambitious.
But I was clearly wrong, because you saw the photo!
It was a random Monday.
I just got done with some photoshoots around the area of this park.
I knew I would get everything done around sunset.
The plan was set.
I got to the park and saw… there weren’t that many people.
THIS WAS IT.
So, I ran out to that overlook.
When I was getting out there, some people showed up behind me.
I knew I only had a small window to get it done.
And… I failed.
I got one shot it and people swarmed to overlook.
Ok, it wasn’t that many.
Only four people.
But I didn’t want anyone to see me flying.
Because they would watch me fly and ask questions.
That’s what happened.
This one guy asked if it was hard to fly.
I said yes, because I was scared he would want to fly it.
I waited and flew around.
No one left.
I had an idea.
They were watching the drone.
So if I landed it and packed things up… they would leave.
So I brought the drone back in and landed.
…… AND THEY LEFT.
THE PLAN WORKED!
I’M PSYCHIC!
So once they were gone, I flew the drone back up and got the shot you saw.
I WON!!
AFTER THREE WEEKS… I GOT IT!
I was so happy.
The editing part of the photo isn’t that exciting.
I just balanced things out.
Brought the highlights down and bumped up the shadows.
Then a little boost in saturation and BOOM!
It was complete.
COMPARE!
That’s it.
I’m happy I got it done finally.
I can rest peacefully now.
ONTO THE VIDEO!
The video covers a lot, which is why it’s a bit long.
It took me WEEKS to get the photo done.
Then it took me even longer to edit the video.
All my cameras were out of sync so nothing was playing chronologically.
Then the video wouldn’t render.
It’s why I was so salty at the beginning of the post.
I wanted all this done last week, BUT NO.
Anyways, watch the video below...
That’s all I got.
I don’t know what coming up next.
I have another idea for an aerial photo, there’s the VHS Project part 3, the Job Update, so on.
I have a lot of things in the works.
We’ll see what I do.
I’ll see you then!
