YO!
How are things?
You good?
Do you need a cookie?
I did buy some cake.
Why?
BECAUSE I COULD!
I WANTED CAKE!!
SO I BOUGHT A CAKE!!!!
AND I ATE THAT CAKE.
Was there anyone here to share it with so I wasn’t eating all of it?
YES!!
JERRY.
HA!
………………
………….
……….
……
…
.
Anyways.
Things have been fine.
I did some final touches to the house.
Bought some new curtains.
That’s all.
Nothing is falling apart.
One of the kitchen windows has a little leak with it rains a lot.
Like a tiny, consistent, drip.
But that’s all.
I’m happy.
This is HOME!
I’ll be here for the next 49.75 years.
Moving on to… THE PHOTO!
I’m continuing the Polaroid stuff.
This is the rest of the photos that I’ve shot with the Polaroid.
I’ve stopped for a little bit because I’ve loaded the wrong film into the camera.
As you’ll see in the video at the end of this post, I bought a lot of film.
In the photo, you see normal white border film and some special black border film.
Well, they also had a pixelated rainbow effect border.
That sounded cool and I wanted to use that.
I loaded that into the camera and realized…
WE ARE IN WINTER!
THERE’S NOTHING COLORFUL BESIDES MY SHIRTS!
EVERYTHING IS DEAD!
There are no colorful things to shoot that would match the film border.
Basically, I’m waiting for Winter to be over.
I did have an idea to use some colorful light painting like that I was going to do for the project at the end of last year.
We’ll see.
Like in the last post, these Polaroids are documenting my days in the house.
This time I used some color film!
That allowed me to use the filters that the camera came with.
Some of these were actual attempts at good photos and some were experiments.
Fun fact, this photo has 5 layers to it.
All adjusting different things.
First off, compare the original to the first edit I did.
The Image Comparer is acting weird today.
It’s best to take a bring after you make a photo.
Let your mind reset.
After that first edit, I didn’t look at the photo until today.
I realized it needed some more changes.
The whites weren’t white enough.
That was one layer.
But the light shining on the bottom two photos would get too blown out.
So on another layer, I brought that down.
But then the black borders got adjusted and I didn’t want that.
I want them to stay dark, so that’s another layer.
I realized it was only the white borders that I wanted to change.
So I moved each photo their own layer so that they wouldn’t change.
Also, we have to include the original first layer.
When I first edited the photo, the black and white photos were a bit warm.
Orange almost.
So I made them their own truly black and white layer.
So on, so forth.
There were a lot of things going on for just this simple photo.
COMPARE THE FINAL CHANGES!
Wonderful.
I like it.
I’m happy.
ONTO THE VIDEO!
The video covers me shooting some more Polaroid photos and just living in the house.
I do some final adjustments like buying new curtains that are actually black-out curtains.
But I think the house is complete, it’s how I like it.
Everything is in its place.
MY HOME!
Also throughout the video, I keep bringing up this 13 years thing.
I was going to shoot a photo for it, but it’s not a photo-related thing.
It’s 13 years since I started my YouTube channel and began making random videos.
Here’s one from 2009…
Yep.
Stuff like that.
Glad things got… some what… better.
This has caused me to look back at old videos and see how things were.
That’s the main reason why I do these videos.
It’s time travel.
I can go back and see what I was doing.
It helps me remember what I’ve done.
I’d forget everything if the videos weren’t around.
ANYWAYS!
Watch the video below...
THAT’S IT!
At the end of the video, I mention what’s next.
I finished the third VHS project.
That’ll come up after this at some point.
Everything is done, the photo for it and the video.
So I can upload it at any time.
But I’ll wait a little bit.
Maybe a week or two.
In the meantime, I’ll be uploading some other things to the channel.
LIKE STORM VIDEOS!
I record all the storms that come through our area.
I’ve been behind on the videos, but recently I’ve been editing through them.
Last year I uploaded the videos after I stopped, which was 2013.
I also uploaded 2014 and 2015 then.
Then a few months later, I uploaded 2016 and 2017.
And now it’s time for 2018 and 2019.
They are uploaded to the channel and are scheduled to appear one video per week.
Anyways, I’m rambling.
I’ll be back in a week or two!
Come back then.
